Product description This Wireless Microphone and USB Receiver System from Pyle Pro is a UHF wireless microphone system utilizing an included USB stick as a receiver. It is intended to bring the convenience of wireless operation to karaoke, podcasting, recording, and voice-over scenarios. The wireless USB receiver is designed to plug directly into a device such as a PC, whereupon it can receive transmissions from the microphone from up to 60' away, depending on your environs. The USB stick requires no driver installation when used in conjunction with computers, and is also compatible with PA-systems sporting USB-enabled MP3 players. In this instance, simply stick the USB receiver in the appropriate slot and use the included 3.55mm cable to connect to the mic input or line input of your active speaker.
The microphone itself sports a dynamic capsule, a 40 Hz to 15 kHz frequency range, a dynamic range in excess of 95 dB, a comparably lightweight design at just over 1 lb, and convenient powering via two AA batteries. Furthermore, the microphone offers on, off, and mute power-switch controls, as well as a built-in acoustic pop filter. The entire system operates within a UHF frequency band of 600 to 960 MHz.
