Product description The REXP-1220U-RP-US 12-Bay SAS RAID Expansion Enclosure for QNAP NAS from QNAP is meant to be used with an existing QNAP NAS system to expand its drive capacity. This model can house up to 12 3.5"/2.5" SAS, SATA, and SSD drives so you can use whatever drives fit your application. It connects its multiple expansion bays via high-speed mini-SAS cables and features a 12 Gbps SAS interface with a 2U rackmount form factor. Combined with the QTS Storage Manager, you'll be able to back up storage, manage your drives, and easily identify faulty drives for maintenance. - Plug and Use
- Connect the REXP-1220U-RP-US to a QNAP NAS, running QTS 4.2 or newer, and all the drives will be detected. You can seamlessly expand and manage the NAS capacity by using the QTS Storage Manager software.
- Missing Mode Protection
- When a disconnected portion of a RAID expansion is detected, the NAS blocks I/O access to protect your data. The system can recover from missing mode to its normal state without losing the data.
- High Density, High Efficiency, and Highly Scalable
- With multiple drive support in a 2U rack space, the REXP-1220U-RP-US has two SAS wide ports (IN port and OUT port) for host connectivity and daisy-chaining. Each port combines four SAS channels, supporting 12 Gbps full duplex speed.
- QTS Store Manager
- QTS Store Manager software provides you with an intuitive interface and tools to manage your storage system. You can use it to monitor your disks as well as locate faulty disks for quick maintenance.
- Backup Solution
- In addition to expanding your storage capacity, the REXP-1220U-RP-US can perform speedy and secure backup for the QNAP NAS. IT administrators will be able to back up data to it on a real time or scheduled basis.
- Flexible Drive Capacity
- The REXP-1220U-RP-US provides you with a flexible drive selection. It accepts SAS, SATA, and SSD drives so you can use whatever drives fit your needs.
