Product description The QSC RMX4050a 2000W Professional Low-Z Power Amplifier is a 3RU unit designed for high power live sound reinforcement applications. The amplifier features both XLR and 1/4" balanced inputs as well as Speakon and touch-proof binding post output connectors. The integrated user-defeatable clip limiters and selectable low-frequency filters allow you to adjust the amplifier to your application.
The amplifier is rated at 850W per channel at 8Ω from 20 to 20,000 Hz, 1400W per channel at 4Ω from 20 to 20,000 Hz, 2000W per channel at 2Ω from 20 to 20,000 Hz, and 2800W in bridge mono mode at 8Ω from 20 to 20,000 Hz.
This unit is less than 16" deep and features a three-tier Class H output circuit design for efficient power management. As a result, less AC current is wasted and more available current is utilized for amplification. - 2000W amplifier features a dual mono, high-current power supply for increased reliability and performance
- Improved thermal performance yielding higher continuous power in 2Ω stereo or 4Ω bridged applications
- High-current toroidal transformers for increased 2Ω power and lower noise
- Independent user-defeatable clip limiters reduce distortion
- Selectable low-frequency filters (30 or 50 Hz) protect speakers and increase headroom
- Balanced 1/4" (6.3mm) TRS, XLR, and barrier strip inputs
- Touch-proof binding post and Neutrik Speakon outputs
- Front mounted gain controls for easy access
- Signal and Clip LED indicators for performance monitoring
- Independent DC and thermal overload protection on each channel automatically protects amplifier and speakers
- 4000W amplifier operates on a standard 15A plug (120V)
