Product description

With the implementation of Linear Tape File System (LFTS) software, users can now drag-and-drop files to the LTO-6 HH 5.25" Internal Bare Drive (6 GB/s SAS, Black) from Quantum. In addition to streamlining the backup process, this drive supports LTO technology to store large amounts of data on a single cartridge. Once the data is stored it is secured using 256-bit AES encryption to ensure important files such as medical records, financial data, and other files remain safe and secure. Along with enhanced encryption functionality, this drive features WORM (write once, read many) technology to prevent the data on the drive from being erased. If the compressed storage capacity of the LTO drive isn't enough, Quantum has included their own DATASTOR Shield backup software designed to store up to 20X more data using deduplication technology.
