Product description To satisfy the growing storage needs of small to medium sized businesses, Quantum offers the Quantum Scalar i40 IBM LTO-6 Library with One Tape Drive (25 Slots, Fibre Channel). This tape library is designed to house up 2 drives and supports up to 25 active tape slots capable of holding LTO-5, LTO-6, and LTO-7 tape drives. Connecting to the network is simple thanks to the built-in Fast Ethernet network interface while the 3U rackmount form factor makes installation a breeze. Once installed, the included iLayer software covers everything from diagnostics to scalability, and with 256-bit AES encryption standards data is protected from outside intrusion. - iLayer Software
