Product description The Quantum Data 804 Multimedia Test Instrument is a rack mountable video test generator designed for testing HDMI flat panel TVs. The 804 test instrument features four HDMI outputs which are active simultaneously for testing HDTVs with multiple HDMI inputs. The test generator can also output component analog and composite analog for testing an HDTVs analog video outputs. Switches between timings and test patterns in less than 100ms. The instrument is equipped with standard video timings and test patterns including 3D patterns and tests for HDMI protocols such as HDCP, EDID and CEC.
The 804 is designed to test compressed and uncompressed HDMI audio formats by using a variety of audio test signals. An HDTV's analog audio input can also be tested using the 804's programmable analog audio outputs. The instrument can be controlled through the touch screen interface which also provides status during testing. The multimedia test instrument can be operated through an extensive command set for control by an automated test system. - Analog Video Outputs
