Product description The HDMI Cable Test Software for 780/780A Video Test Instruments from Quantum Data provides a basic test for verifying HDMI cable quality. The test is based on a pseudo-random noise image that is generated on the transmitter and received at the receiver. Every pixel sent should be received or errors are reported. This option lets you test for pixel errors on multiple formats (resolutions) on the TMDS video and check continuity on the 5V, hot plug, and DDC lines. - Tests for video errors using pseudo-random noise pattern
- Tests video at 480p (8-bit), 720p (8-bit), 1080p (8- and 12-bit)
- Tests DDC for proper communication
- Tests for pixel errors on multiple formats (resolutions) on the TMDS video and check continuity on the 5V, hot plug, and DDC lines
- Repeater test verifies HDMI networks consists of cables, audio/video processors, extenders, switches, repeaters, etc. prior to installation
