Product description The Radial Engineering Headbone VT Guitar Amp Head Switcher acts as a "command center" for your guitar, facilitating the use of the same speaker cabinet with two different amplifiers, switching them on the fly. It also incorporates a Slingshot remote controller, so you can make the switch at your pedalboard.
A series of relays and photocells makes sure the transition between amps takes place smoothly and safely, with no risk to your amps or speaker. Class-A circuitry keeps your signal path pristine.
The Headbone lets you use the proper amp at all times, neatly, smoothly, with no extra cable runs and without running all over the stage. The "VT" model Headbone is for switching between two valve tube amps. - Reduce Cabling Needs
- Instead of having to run multiple cables back and forth to your pedalboard, a single cable can carry your switching commands, via the integrated Slingshot.
- Amp Protection
- A digital chip controls the quick succession of steps that take place to switch amp heads. Amp load is maintained continuously, avoiding amp malfunction due to unloaded transformers overheating. Your equipment is safe at all times.
