Product description The Radial Engineering Relay Xo Balanced Remote AB Switcher is a 1 input, 2 outputs balanced audio switcher designed to route the output of a microphone to two different audio inputs. This enables a vocalist to switch his mic between the main PA system and the monitors for discreet communication. This is of particular importance for artists that employ in-ear monitors. You can also use the Relay Xo to send the output of a microphone to two channels on the PA. The first channel could be set dry to speak to the audience between sets, while the second channel could be set wet with reverb and echo to enhance the voice. This enables the vocalist to control effects and deliver a more professional performance.The Relay Xo features a balanced XLR input and two balanced XLR outputs. The audio signal path is a passive wire. There are no transformers or electronic buffers inside that could introduce distortion or color the tone. The Relay Xo employs military-grade gold-contact sealed relays to do the switching. This makes it suitable for both mic and line level signals. Switching may be done using the side-access pushbutton switch or by remote control via the XLR and 1/4" input jacks using either the Radial JR1-L latching or JR1-M momentary footswitch (not included). A remote link enables multiple units to be used in tandem. - Switches vocal microphone from PA to intercom

- Ground lift disconnects pin-1 (ground) on the input XLR jack to help reduce hum and buzz caused by ground loops
- Features heavy duty glass-filled XLRs with nickel-silver contacts
- Military grade relays are used to switch the audio signal and provide a straight wire signal path
- Discrete full size, hand inserted parts ensure the audio signal flows without impediment from input to output without distortion or artifact
- Double sided military spec for greater durability and full ground plane to reduce radio frequency interference
- Book end design creates a protective zone around the jacks and switches
- Switches feature metal outer casing are rated at over 20000 cycles for durability
- Features a cable clamp to prevents accidental power disconnection by locking down the AC adapter cable
- Full-bottom no-slip pad provides electrical isolation and holds the Relay Xo in one place
- I-beam enclosure eliminates cold solder joints from developing
