Product description The RapcoHorizon MC-4 4-Channel Rackmount Microphone Level Signal Combiner is designed for use in both live and studio applications, each channel takes 2 mic-level signals and combines them into a single mic-level output. The MC-4 Microphone is suitable for combining mic signals when you don't have enough channels on your board to plug in all of your stage mics. This rugged, single rack space unit is built with a cold rolled steel chassis for high shielding and durability. On the front panel, each channel has 2 isolated XLR inputs (to maintain correct impedance level) and individual ground lift switches for each mic input. On the rear panel, each channel has parallel XLR male outputs (acts as a Y cable). Due to the DC blocking characteristics of a transformer, this unit will not pass phantom power.
The included HSCT Transformer is a 1:1:1 turns ratio microphone combiner transformer. It features open frame construction with flexible leads. Its primary use is combining microphone level signals in general purpose applications. - Each channel takes 2 mic-level signals and combines them into a single mic-level output
- Suitable for combining mic signals when you don't have enough channels on your board to plug in all of your stage mics
