Product description Featuring friction joint height adjustability and a reversible base for flexibility in placement, The Jazz Stand from RATstands also boasts an injection molded tray designed to be unbreakable. An additional shelf can store pencils or small instruments. The Jazz Stand provides multiple storage options, and can be nested with other Jazz Stands for saving space, or folded flat for transport. Conductors as well as band members can use the Jazz Stand, as it can be unfolded with its base pointed away from the user to serve as a conductor's stand. - Friction Joint
- When unfolded, the Jazz stand is adjusted by raising or lowering it to the desired height and leaving it there. Its friction joints ensure that it stays at the right height
- Rigid and Light
- The anodized aluminum stem is strong, rigid and light. This stand doesn't sway, and yet can be adjusted smoothly and easily
- Designed to Be Unbreakable
- The injection molded tray is designed to be unbreakable; if bent, it springs back. The tray is made of a polymer which does not "ring" when knocked. It has smoothly rounded edges all over - safe to handle and kind to your instruments
- Additional Shelf
- The tray has an additional shelf for pencils and small instruments. Friction locks automatically hold the tray at whatever angle you set. There are no knobs to fiddle with or lose, and it will never go slack
- Rubber Feet
- Diecast aluminum legs with scratch resistant epoxy coating give enormous strength with low weight. Rubber feet preserve your floor and prevent clatter if the stand is knocked
- Compact Storage
- Jazz Stands nest next to each other when standing, saving space when stored
- Reversible Base
- The Jazz Stand can be unfolded with its base reversed to enable it to get right up to the chair of the player in front
- Flexible
- The Jazz Stand goes high enough for the trumpeter, yet low enough for the youngest cellist. The Jazz Stand's reversible legs enable it to be used as a portable conductor's stand
- Folds Flat
- When folded, Jazz Stands interlock to form an orderly pile
