Product description The black RAYMAX 50 Series PoE Semi-Covert Illuminator from Raytec is a high-performance IR lighting solution used in night surveillance operations both indoors and outdoors. It is designed to provide dedicated lighting for network cameras via a PoE (Power over Ethernet) enabled infrastructure. It includes Active LED Life Control that controls LED output during the illuminator's life cycle. It is fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3 af standard detection method and requires an injector that can deliver up to 10W.
The illuminator, with a wavelength of 850nm, is suitable for low-light installations up to a range of up to 131'. It has a polycarbonate lens design that protects the illuminator against blows from crowbars, baseball bats, and successive shots from air pistols and rifles. The lighting enables the camera to capture images in darkness. - PoE Enabled
- It is designed to provide dedicated lighting for IP cameras via a PoE (Power over Ethernet) enabled network infrastructure. Installation is as simple as plugging in the Ethernet cable. With an in-built photocell plus internal command and control electronics, the light is truly plug-and-play.
- Active LED Life Control
- The Advanced Cool Running system draws heat away from the LEDs, shielding the LED from abnormal stress, and allows the LED products to deliver better performance and consistency of illumination throughout the operational life of the illuminator.
- Platinum Advanced SMT LED Technology
- Platinum illuminators integrate cutting-edge SMT LED technology, light intensification miniature optics, and an enhanced Cool Running thermal management system into a single high-performance LED.
- Command and Control Technology
- Integrated into all Fusion Illuminators, Command and Control technology provides photocell, photocell level adjustment, and power adjustment functionality on the actual illuminator. This eliminates the need for an external power supply.
- Vandal Resistant
- The polycarbonate lens design protects against severe blows from crowbars, baseball bats, and can even withstand successive shots from air pistols and rifles (range dependent).
- Energy Saving
- It uses high-efficiency LEDs and advanced control methods to deliver extremely low electrical consumption. The illuminator saves energy and delivers huge savings in running costs compared to traditional bulb illuminators.
