Product description The black RAYMAX 50 Series Semi-Covert Illuminator from Raytec is a high-performance IR lighting solution used in night surveillance operations. It is designed to offer a working life of 10 years and zero maintenance. The adaptive Illumination allows installers to adjust the angle from 10 to 30° of light projection according to specific security needs and a camera's field of view. It includes Active LED Life Control that controls LED output during the illuminator's life cycle.
The illuminator, which has a wavelength of 850nm, is suitable for low-light installations to a range of up to 92'. It has a polycarbonate lens design that protects the illuminator against blows from crowbars, baseball bats, and successive shots from air pistols and rifles. The lighting enables the camera to capture images in darkness. The illuminator includes a power supply with an adjustable power output for IR, an adjustable photocell, and telemetry control. - Adaptive Illumination
- Adaptive Illumination allows the installer to adjust the angle of the light projection from a single unit to fit the specific demands of any installation. Adjustment is quick and convenient and any angle up to 180° is easily selectable.
- Active LED Life Control
- The Advanced Cool Running system draws heat away from the LEDs, shielding the LED from abnormal stress, and allows the LED products to deliver better performance and consistency of illumination throughout the operational life of the illuminator.
- SMT (Surface Mount Technology)
- Compared to standard through hole LEDs, surface mount LEDs are a more robust solution increasing reliability and improving product life. They are also far more efficient at the dissipation of heat, allowing the LEDs to run at higher power and achieve significantly improved performance.
- Vandal Resistant
- The polycarbonate lens design protects against severe blows from crowbars, baseball bats, and can even withstand successive shots from air pistols and rifles (range dependent).
- Energy Saving
- It uses high-efficiency LEDs and advanced control methods to deliver extremely low electrical consumption. The illuminator saves energy and delivers huge savings in running costs compared to traditional bulb illuminators.
- High-Definition Lighting
- High-Definition Lighting allows cameras to provide clear, high-signal images during the hours of darkness. The HD lighting is made possible with Raytec's high-power LED technology, which delivers increased power on scene. High-definition cameras require high-definition lighting.
