Product description The RM100-AI-120 Semi-Covert IR Illuminator from Raytec is a high-performance IR lighting solution used in night surveillance operations. It is designed to offer a long life (10 years) and zero maintenance. With surface mount IR LEDs, it dissipates heat to run at high power, and provides high-quality images in complete darkness with enhanced optical output. Adaptive Illumination allows installers to adjust the angle (120 to 180°) of light projection according to specific security needs and a camera's field-of-view. The IR Illuminator includes the Advanced Cool Running system that drives away heat from the LEDs and protects it from abnormal stress for a constant level of light throughout the life of the illuminator. Even illumination reduces bit rates and lowers storage requirements, useful for digital recording systems. It also includes Active LED Life Control that controls LED output during the illuminator's life cycle. The RM100-AI-120 IR Illuminator, with a wavelength of 850nm, is suitable for low-light installations, to a range of up to 105'. It has a polycarbonate lens design that protects the illuminator against blows from crowbars, baseball bats, and successive shots from air pistols and rifles. The lighting enables the camera to capture images in darkness.
