Product description Designed for use on large stages both in and out of doors, the RCF TTL6-A is an active, high-output, three-way line array module capable of pushing 2200W RMS. It provides a frequency response of 45 Hz to 20 kHz, utilizing four digitally controlled channels of class-D amplification to power the sound, and sporting 90 x 30° of coverage. This line array module, providing equal level distribution over a large range, can be stacked with other units when wider dispersion is required. The TTL6-A offers 2x12" woofers for the lows, 4x6" drivers for the midrange, and a 3" voice coil compression driver. Its wave-guide helps to provide uniform directionality, while its four-channel, DSP-controlled amplifier mitigates potential noise and distortion issues. The cabinet itself is constructed from Baltic birch plywood, with special glue employed to ensure water resistance. To withstand the rigors of the road, the internal structure of the cabinet has been heavily braced, with large metal brackets reinforcing the cabinet throughout. Four die-cast, powder-coated aluminum handles with rubber handgrips are provided, as are fixing points for rigging the module in various configurations. - Titanium Diaphragm
- The TTL6-A uses an oxygen-free process, with thin titanium films molded into its diaphragms. This process ensures an extended high response and consistent power handling. A special dampening adhesive is applied to the area where the titanium suspension is bonded to the assembly ring in order to remove distortions or resonances.
- Inside-Out Voice Coils
- The TTL6-A combines the advantages of inside/outside technology with the high quality of polyimide-imide materials (wire resins and former resins). These "inside/outside" coils effectively double the dissipation surface, as well as the adhesion area to the former, when compared to comparable coils. Also, during thermal expansion, the former is squeezed between inside and outside layers, ensuring excellent mechanical resistance.
- Asymmetrical Horn Design
- The vertically asymmetrical horn design projects sound accurately while avoiding unwanted reflections. This design allows you to configure two cascading TTL 6-As for clear control of directional characteristics. This results in an increase of intelligibility, even in less-than-optimal acoustic environments.
- 4 Digital Amplifiers
- Four independent digital amplifiers are provided, delivering much in the way of output power.
- RDNet Control
- A dedicated processing area is provided through the included RDNet input board. Remote monitoring, special custom equalizations, high and low pass, single way solo and mute, and many other options are all available on RDNet. RDNet protocol can monitor all the system parameters, from the input to the status of each amplifier. You can modify settings of single cabinets or groups of cabinets all via RDNet GUI software.
