Product description The NX 12-SMA Active Coaxial Stage Monitor from RCF is a powered monitor that can be used as either a floor monitor or mounted for use as a stand-alone PA for small venues. It is capable of up to 800-watts peak performance, providing output up to 129 dB SPL. The monitor has integrated DSP for limiting functions as well as a switchable EQ mode that provides optimized performance for stage monitoring or PA applications. - Coaxial Neodymium Transducers
- The coaxial neodymium transducers are designed for audio quality and definition as well as a lightweight final system
- Absence of Feedback
- The advantage of coaxial transducers is the absence of feedback, and thanks to the coherent single spherical wave front with dispersion control, a wide ideal listening position
- Single Neodymium Ring
- The single neodymium ring magnet provides a high flux density and BL factor
- Hyper-Vented Basket
- Both of the transducers are equipped with a hyper-vented basket and magnetic assembly that provide heat dissipation and lower power compression
- Amplification
- The NX Coaxial Stage Monitors are provided with digital amplifiers with DSP processing
- Input Board
- The input board is equipped to configure the stage monitors for most stage situations, and includes:
- XLR input and output
- Jack input
- Input sensitivity switch
- Free field - floor switch
- Status LEDs
- Powercon AC input and output
- Ergonomic Handle
- Cabinets are made with Baltic Birch plywood and finished with a resistant paint for extensive use on the road. An ergonomic side handle, integrated with the input panel, is provided for an easier transport
- EQ
- In order to control the response of the speaker in different applications, RCF has incorporated two Equalization Modes:
- Floor, for stage monitoring
- Free Field, for the use of the speakers as a stand-alone PA
- 1,400 Watt peak, 700 Watt RMS digital bi-amplification
- 60° x 60° constant directivity horn
- 12" High power neodymium woofer, 2.5" voice coil
- 1.7 kapton dome, 1" exit, neodymium high frequency driver
- DSP processing, floor field equalization, soft limiter and protection
