Product description The FP-PA18 18 Watt Audio Power Amplifier with Power Supply is a rugged, energy efficient and compact audio amplifier capable of driving a single 8 ohm speaker (or multiple speakers presented at 8 ohms). Its compact size and straightforward features make the FP-PA18 a viable choice for background music applications, paging audio, television audio applications and more. The amplifier's power output is 18 watts RMS and a single line input accepts balanced and unbalanced signal types. Its input gain dial compensates between balanced and unbalanced signals and an adjustable compressor/limiter controls dynamics that can ultimately lead to peak distortion and noise. The FP-PA18 features an energy-efficient and eco-friendly sleep mode that deactivates the output stage in the absence of audio signal, consuming less than 1W of mains power while powered. The sleep mode is triggered with an internal digital timer that may be set to activate at 5, 15 and 25 minute settings. Of course all this is in addition to the convenience, great sound and intuitive control the RDL FP-PA18 provides. - Automatic energy‑saving sleep mode
- Selectable sleep delay: off, 5, 15, 25 minutes
- Input / output detachable terminal block connections
- Line level balanced or unbalanced input
- Compressor/limiter controls clipping
- LED to indicate audio compression threshold
- Compressor produces maximized average output power
- Audio quality superior to standard amplifiers
- Ultra‑compact all metal construction
- High‑efficiency class D operation
- Thermal and short-circuit protection
