Product description Broadcast studios, video production facilities, and project studios often require high-quality analog to digital audio converters to carry out different tasks. The HR-ADC1 from RDL is a compact A to D converter that was designed specifically for this job. You can connect analog audio sources to the HR-ADC1 and it will convert them into several different formats of digital audio with exceptional accuracy and clarity. The rear panel features pairs of balanced XLR, terminal block, and unbalanced RCA analog inputs. There are digital outputs for AES/EBU on XLR, AES3ID on BNC, and S/PDIF on coaxial RCA. You can sync to an external source using any of these digital connections, or you can set the sampling rate and resolution directly on the HR-ADC1. In a fixed installation where you don't want anyone adjusting the levels, the RDL SC-2 security kit is available separately to lock in the appropriate settings. Capable of handling signals up to 24 bit 192 kHz, the HR-ADC1 provides top-notch quality audio. With its compact, all metal construction, and its user-friendly interface, the HR-DAC1 is a great choice for a wide range of production environments. - Converts analog audio signals into AES/EBU, coaxial S/PDIF, and AES-3ID digital outputs
