Product description The Base Plate for Nikon D850 from Really Right Stuff is designed with anti-twist flanges to keep the camera from twisting while mounted on the plate. Once the dovetail plate is on, quick release functionality has been added to the camera. Also, this base plate is compatible with all Really Right Stuff clamps and most other Arca-type compatible heads. The CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum plate maintains complete access to the battery door, and the plate can accept an optional L-component that will fit the plate's modular design and make a custom-fit L-plate. The base plate has a durable Type II anodized finish. Additionally, the plate, with a machined boss for a hand or shoulder strap, has a laser-engraved center mark on the back to align it on a tripod head. Plus, there is an additional QD socket on the plate for the Quick Disconnect strap system, and an included hex key that stores on the top inside of the base plate. - The base plate has an option for a L-component, which fits the plate's modular design to create a custom-fit L-plate
