Product description The Really Right Stuff Collar Foot Package for Nikon AF-S 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR Lens replaces the original manufacturer's collar and foot. This replacement lowers the height of the lens and gives more support and stability when rotating the lens within the collar. This accessory also adds a double dovetail design to the foot, which is compatible with most Arca-type clamps. With a double dovetail, other Arca-type accessories can also clamp on top of the tripod foot. The Collar Foot Package is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, and has been Type II black anodized, which makes it resistant to abrasions and corrosion. If an Arca-type clamp is not present, a 1/4"-20 threaded female socket is located on the bottom of the foot, so the lens can screw onto a tripod head.
