Product description Time-Lapse Tips and Tools Read More The FG-02 LR Fluid-Gimbal Head with B2-LR II Lever-Release Clamp from Really Right Stuff is a full-size fluid-gimbal tripod head designed to provide users with video quality fluid pans, while tracking and photographing moving subjects.
An innovative and original design, the FG-02 is recommended for users wishing to capture photo or video of moving subjects with smooth, shake-free, uninhibited movement. With a load capacity of 50 lb the FG-02 has the ability to support large camera and lens combinations, but is limited to a maximum load capacity of just 15 lb when the maximum effects of the fluid mechanisms are required. The fluid rotators also feature 3 selectable levels of dampening, allowing the user to choose how much resistance is necessary for their needs. Of course, the mechanisms also feature an "off" setting for those who do not require the fluid movement at all.
The FG-02's design consists of two arms that control the rotation and swing of the cameras position. The base arm is connected directly to the integrated base rotator, which features a laser-engraved 360° scale for accurate horizontal positioning, while the vertical arm, which mounts to the base arm via Arca-type clamp, may be positioned with the assistance of a laser-engraved millimeter scale. The vertical arm also features an adjustable fluid rotator with engraved 360° markings and a lever-lock equipped Arca-type side-mounted clamp for mounting and dismounting your camera or lens foot. - Supports up to 50 lb of gear with fluid controlled support up to 15 lb
