Product description If you're doing macro or low angle shooting the Ground-Level Tripod from Really Right Stuff is an indispensable tool. The 2-section, black anodized, abrasion-resistant support weighs just 2.6 lb and folds down to just 12.4" for easy transport, while maximum height is an impressive 17.7" but minimum height is 1.9", almost on the ground. The tripod will support up to 50 lb, exceeding the requirements of anything resembling normal image making. The Ground-Level Tripod's bottom section legs are reversible with rubber tips on one side for smooth surfaces and stainless spikes on the other for uneven or loose terrain. - CNC machined 6061T Type III black-anodized aluminum and stainless steel for maximum abrasion resistance
- Reversible bottom leg sections have a stainless steel point at one end for rugged outdoor use and a rubber tip on the other end for indoor/table-top use. A spring-loaded stop-button is depressed for easy removal
- 4-Position legs for maximum positioning flexibility. Minimum height is only 1.9"
- Robust construction: the rated load capacity is 50 lb, but it can handle more weight than any practical photographic application requires
- Two section legs are quick to extend/retract; only one easy-grip knob lock per leg
- Rubber grips are strategically placed on the inside of each leg to provide protection and traction when legs are fully splayed
- Stainless steel screws are black zinc plated to be unobtrusive
