Product description The Large Flash Bracket with Orbiting Tilt Mount from Really Right Stuff is the full-sized circular bracket in their line of products designed to hold one or more Speedlights, small strobes, or other accessories. The bracket holds the flash at a higher position for a shadowless light, which can be applied for portraiture and event photography. Having the light at a higher position also creates a beautiful catch- or fill-light, a proper light for wildlife photography. Positioning of the flash is completely adjustable because of the circular shape of the flash bracket. Which makes it suitable for studio and macro photography. Greater control of your flash's positioning on the bracket allows it to conform to different camera angles. As for the Orbiting Tilt Mount, you can position it anywhere along the ring, and the bracket itself has click detents machined into the ring so a previous position can be repeated exactly. A spring-loaded safety stop prevents the flash from being accidentally pulled off the ring. Yet, this also allows the mount to be removed quickly and easily without tools. Other Orbiting Tilt Mounts can be added as well for multiple flash set ups. Speedlights and other accessories such as microphones, video lights, and monitors utilize the SNAP QR mounting system; and as a result, the quick release adapter slides into the base portion of the mount for a secure fit. The Orbiting Tilt Mount locking knob is located towards the bottom of the mount, and the side knob enables 180° of fore-and-aft tilt. The Large Flash Bracket mounts to any Really Right Stuff lens plate, rail, or replacement foot with a dovetail design, so you can you use it with the collared lens of choice. The bracket can be used if a collared lens is not present, with an optional MPR-CL adapter rail, which mounts vertically to your camera plate, and then attaches the bracket in the same way as you would a double dovetail lens foot. - Bracket holds a Speedlight at a higher position for a shadowless light
- Useful for portrait, event, wildlife, and macro photography
- Able to mount multiple accessories
- Click detents for multiple and repeated positions
- Bracket mounts to double dovetail lens plates, rails, and replacement lens feet
