Product description The LCF-11 Replacement Foot for Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR Lens from Really Right Stuff attaches directly to the lens collar and locks into place by tightening the knob. The lens foot is made with a double dovetail design, which adds a quick release functionality to the bottom of the foot. The replacement foot is compatible with most Arca-type clamps, and the double dovetail allows accessories to attach to the bottom or the top of the foot. By replacing the foot originally supplied, it gives the lens a lower profile and a lower center of gravity, therefore, it has a better balance when the lens is placed on a gimbal-type head. The lens foot is CNC machined from a single block of 6061-T6 aluminum, and has a type-II black anodizing, which makes the foot resistant against scratches and corrosion. Located on the bottom of the foot are two safety stops, which prevents it from accidentally pulling the lens when the ball head clamp is partially open. - Replaces Nikon's original lens collar foot, and provides a lower profile, and a lower center of gravity for a better balance
