Product description The MTX Multi-Tool is designed primarily for use on Really Right Stuff equipment, as well as other industry standard photographic equipment. Really Right Stuff always uses hex screws on all their equipment, so it is essential that the MTX Multi-Tool should be used. It is a better tool to use versus trying to fit a coin into a slotted screw because more torque can be applied to tighten a camera plate to the base of a camera. At the bottom of the driver handle, the anodized butt-cap is removable and conceals two bit holders, which contain 22 3/16" hex bits and 1 hex key. The first bit holder has 10 of the most commonly used hex bits for Really Right Stuff equipment. In addition, the second holder contains 12 more bits, and all the tips have been stamped with the corresponding tip size. The 3/16" hex key is also stored inside the handle, alongside the bits and two bit holders. Hex key and bits are coated to be resistant against corrosion. Furthermore, screwing the butt-cap on creates a waterproof seal. The multi-tool's shaft is made of stainless steel, and the driver is magnetic to keep the bits in place. For a better grip, the driver handle is textured and will not slip from the hand when torque is applied.
