Product description The Ultralight L-Plate for Nikon D850 from Really Right Stuff is a low-profile and lightweight design that is machined from a solid block of aluminum into a fixed L-plate. The plate can be changed from a horizontal to a vertical position, without sacrificing your center of axis, while mounted on a tripod. The Arca-type compatible dovetail plate adds quick release functionality to the camera, and an anti-twist pin prevents the camera from twisting upon the L-plate. The L-plate maintains complete access to the battery door and does not block the camera's tilting screen, and on the port side of the L-plate, it has been machined to enable access to all the camera's ports. A strap boss has been machined into the side, and the bottom of the plate includes a QD socket for Quick Disconnect strap systems. Additionally, Type II black anodizing has been applied to the CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum to give the L-plate a durable smooth surface, and the plate has laser-engraved center marks on the back of each axis to align on a tripod head.
