Product description Offload from Red Giant is a simple and reliable solution for backing up your footage in the field. Compatible with Mac and Windows, the software uses a clean, single-screen user interface and automatically recognizes media cards or drives connected to your computer. You can then take create fast, safe, checksummed copies of your files to a designated storage drive. For data redundancy, you can choose to backup all imported files to a second destination as well.
Offload is a tool that you can use on or off set. With the large thumbnails and clearly visible offload progression, it is easy to start the offload process and see it from a distance while you shoot or perform other tasks. Offload has easily customizable subfolders, a tabbed layout to track previous/multiple sessions, and quick and easy access to offloaded media from the interface by double-clicking on a thumbnail to go right to the imported file. - Interface
- Offload has a clean, simple, single-screen user interface. When a media card is inserted, Offload automatically recognizes it, displays the card in the Source window, and displays the media on the card in the bottom half of the UI.
Source Panel: Used for selecting the source where the media files reside.
Copy Panel: Used for selecting the copy destination and for creating and organizing subfolders. The entire copy panel is utilized to also show progress during the copy process. Yellow is used to show In progress, and Turquoise is to show completion.
Backup Panel: Used for creating a second copy and for creating and organizing subfolders in the same manner as the copy panel. The entire backup panel is utilized to also show progress during the backup process.
Media Preview Panel: Used to display thumbnails of content that is on the source and then copied to the chosen destination. The thumbnails in the media preview panel are utilized to show progress during the offload process. - Media Cards and Drives
- Offload is able to access content from any media card and hard drive inserted or connected to your computer. When inserting a media card or drive with Offload open, Offload will display the mounted card or drive in the Offload Source panel.
- Safety
- Every file is compared to the original to ensure an exact, pristine duplicate.
- Redunancy
- Offload can make an additional copy of your files to another destination or drive.
