Product description The DSLR ultraCage Gimbal Kit from Redrock Micro includes an ultraCage for DSLR, a precision milled aluminum camera enclosure that adds just enough camera base height to use the gimbal's bottom rails. Cage sides and top feature multiple mounting points for attaching accessories exactly where you need them for balance and functionality. This ultraCage Gimbal Kit is compatible with most video DSLRs today from Canon, Nikon, and many others.
The ultraCage top mount adds lightweight carbon fiber top rails, ideal for your remote focus motor and controller. The cage and carbon rails are designed to fit into your gimbal setup. When you're not using your gimbal, the ultraCage can be expanded into any number of DSLR rigs, including handheld, shoulder, and studio styles.The ultraCage for DSLRs secures the camera with four individual points of contact. This prevents the camera from moving or shifting in the cage along any axis. The ultraCage gives your HDSLR a cinema-style baseplate for adding 15mm iris rods, and allows you to attach accessories such as a matte box and follow focus. The ultraCage for DSLR has a universal shoe clamp, and can work with a wide range of DSLR camera bodies. - Sleek form-fitting design that wraps your camera for security and stability
