Product description The Redrock Micro microRemote Wireless Kit with SLS Motor and flexCable allows for smooth and accurate focus adjustment. Included with this bundle are a Basestation which acts as the wireless receiver and power distributor for the motor, a lightweight yet powerful lens drive motor, and a Handheld Controller with hard stops on the handwheel. The Basestation is the center of the microRemote system. It wirelessly coordinates with the Hand Controller and calibrates the motor to the lenses. Power is also distributed through the Basestation. The SLS drive motor also features a built-in lens light. It can drive photo or cinema lenses via its standard gear, while its small size keeps it unobtrusive. And owing to its lightweight properties, it won't unbalance your rig. The motor attaches to 15mm rods and can be adjusted to fit the diameter of your lens. - microRemote Handheld Wireless Focus Controller The microRemote Handheld Wireless Focus Controller from Redrock Micro is designed to help control your camera focus while using stabilizers such as Steadicams, Jib Arms, and Gimbal Stabilizers. By controlling focus wirelessly you remove the need to directly touch the camera during a shot, but still control focus to direct your viewer's attention.
In situations where wireless may not be possible, the optional tethering cable wires the microRemote for direct, interference-free operation up to 20 feet away. - Camera Run/Stop
- This Handheld Controller features the ability to trigger the Run/Stop of supported cameras (cable required). This allows for control of the camera remotely for when it may be inaccessible. The microRemote Handheld Unit also has a built in Run/Stop light that indicates when the camera is recording or not, so the camera does not need to be within your line of sight.
- Lens Mapping
- All lenses are mapped to the full 270° rotation of the microRemote. This is especially helpful for DSLR lenses that have very short throws, but also very helpful for some Cinema Lenses that have long throws. The expanded mapping on DSLR Lenses is designed to allow refined and precise focus pulls. The mapping process makes all lenses feel similar, allowing for a consistent feel throughout all lenses.
- Wireless control of microRemote system up to 1 mile (1600m) line of sight
- Left/Right hand operation
- 3D Marking discs compatible with Flares for use in the dark
- A dual adjustable hard stop for precision pulls
- Powered by 2 AA batteries
- Camera Run/Stop triggering
- Lanyard loop for resting around neck
- 1/4"-20 thread for building into a rig
Note:The microRemote Handheld Controller is an add-on for existing microRemote owners and is not a standalone system - SLS Ultra-Compact Lens Control Motor for microRemote The Redrock Micro SLS Ultra-Compact Lens Control Motor for microRemote is ultra-compact and lightweight, making it well suited for use with drones, gimbals, and stabilizers where every gram can make a difference. The small size and light weight gives you the option to leave it on your camera at all times. This version of the SLS motor features a standard 7-pin connector for compatibility with Redrock Micro and third-party controllers.
Belying its small size and lightweight nature, the motor is a powerhouse with three times the torque and twice the resolution of Redrock's original torque motor. The SLS motor mounts onto 15mm rods using a removable adjustable rod clamp, and Redrock Micro integrated a light into the motor for low-light lens mark visibility. A Cine standard 0.8 MOD drive gear assures that this motor can be used to drive any lens ring with Cine-standard gearing. - SLS is a great upgrade for microRemote owners who want increased performance and smaller size, Use one motor for focus, or three for full FIZ control.
