Product description The Redrock Micro ultraBase DSLR is a baseplate-only version of the ultraCage DSLR. At any later point you can add an optional "ultraCage DSLR Upper Support Chassis" to convert ultraBase into a full cage. ultraBase features 1/4" and 3/8" threads underneath for mounting a tripod and has 15mm rod opening so you can attach rods and mount a follow focus, matte box and other accessories onto them. ultraBase does not block the battery door of any DSLR that has a bottom battery door.
