Product description With the 3-year Rescue Data Recovery Service Plan, the data on your hard drive or solid state drive is protected. Rescue will cover any brand of hard drive or solid state drive. If you need data recovery done on your storage drive, you can ship it to Rescue. Once received, Rescue will recover your data in a secure research lab and send the data back to you via an encrypted cloud account or a different storage drive, which is also encrypted. You can easily track your claim via text, email, or 24/7 online tracking notifications. Please note that coverage starts at the time of purchase and the storage drive must be working at the time of purchase. Also, the storage drive must have some portion of the manufacturer's warranty still applicable to it. How Does the Recovery Process Work? - Step 1
- If you lose your data, call the Rescue Service plan customer service line
- Step 2
- Ship your hard drive or solid state drive to Rescue
- Step 3
- Should you need data recovery, Rescue's data recovery experts will examine your device in a secure recovery lab, recover your data, and return it to you at no additional cost
- Step 4
- Rescue will send your recovered ata back to you encrypted for added security either on an encrypted cloud account or on a device large enough to store your recovered data
