Product description The Resident Audio M8 Active Nearfield Studio Monitor is designed for both project and professional studios alike. The monitor combines a 8" Fiberglass Composite Woofer with a round rear firing bass port and a 1" Soft Silk Dome Tweeter with 160 W Power Output (80 W HF, 80 W LF) of class AB amplification to deliver a frequency response of 35 to 35,000 Hz with a maximum SPL of 108 dB.
For I/O, the unit features unbalanced RCA, balanced 1/4" TRS, and balanced XLR connectors. LED indicator lights provide visual feedback for when the monitor is on (blue) or in standby mode (red). A rear panel volume knob allows you to adjust the output level To adjust the response of the monitors to your room, they come equipped with a selectable low frequency cutoff of 50, 65, 80, and 100 Hz (12 dB/octave) as well as a high frequency adjustment of -2, -1, 0, or +1 dB..
