Product description RF-Video's Programmable 100 Watt 2.4 GHz Audio/Video Transmitter is suitable for use in extremes of cold or hot, and is designed for use in aeronautic, aerospace, or military applications. The video transmitter supports NTSC and PAL video, with a separate video and audio input and a local monitor output. The unit must be attached to a large metal surface for heat dissipation during use. Included with the transmitter is an LCD programmer that allows you to set the transmitter to operate on any frequency from 2,290 to 2,500 MHz. The unit draws 20 amps at 12 volts DC, producing 100 watts of RF transmission power. Please note this item is only for sale to government agencies and is not for commercial use in the United States. - The transmitter features 100W of RF transmission power translating into approximately 37 miles line-of-sight transmission.
- The included special LCD programmer gives you full control of setting transmission frequency from 2.29 to 2.5 GHz.
- This transmitter works in temperature extremes beyond the capabilities of most human beings, from -40 degrees to over 172 degrees Fahrenheit. It is recommended that the transmitter be mounted to a large piece of metal to assist with heat dissipation.
- It draws about 20 amps at about 12 volts DC
