Product description The 1 Ton Camera Movement/Mounting Bundle from RigWheels is comprised of one RigPlate, two RigAxels, four suction A-Cups, RigMount, four MicroWheel Camera Dolly Wheels, and four Inline Skate Wheels. This bundle is designed to mount your camera and move it in one of the four core configurations provided. - RP01 RigPlate The RigWheels RP01 RigPlate serves as a resourceful component of the camera mounting hardware. Its first function is to serve as a mounting plate for attaching RigWheels. The RigPlate and 1 set of RigWheels (sold separately) provide with smooth movement as a tabletop / skater dolly that can be used on any smooth or hard surface.
Using the RigPlate as a pipe dolly gives a scalable slider / dolly option for the new generation of mid-size and compact cameras. Attaching 2 RigPlates together creates a captive-rail camera carriage that allows secure camera movement at any angle. Using the RigPlate in conjunction with RigAxels (sold separately) adds even more capability to this simple system with a more traditional tabletop dolly setup and a robust pipe-dolly option.
The RigPlate is a camera support platform and can be used for much more than camera movement. A variety of several different mounting points allow you to attach a myriad of accessories. There are ten 1/4-20 and five 3/8-16 threaded holes (industry standard sizes) in addition to four 5/16" and five 3/8" pass-through holes.
The RigPlate can be turned into a rock-solid suction mount by adding the A-Cups or B- Cups (sold separately). UPC: 854821004033 - RA02 2-RigAxels The RigWheels RA02 2-RigAxels are designed to be used in conjunction with the RigPlate (sold separately). These RigAxels allow for several different additional configurations that provide you with even more options for getting smooth camera movement with the RigWheels system (sold separately).
With the custom inline wheels (sold separately) attached to the ends, you can use these RigAxels to convert the RigPlate (sold separately) into a more robust tabletop dolly with a larger footprint. This is a suitable solution for larger camera setups. Moreover, you can pivot the RigAxels to get curved dolly moves. When used with both the RigPlate and RigWheels, they add a bottom bar to make a captive rail pipe slider.
These RigAxels and the RigPlate can be used together with the RailRunner configuration. Four 1/4"-20 holes allow for easy attachment of the RigMount (sold separately) and A-Cups (sold separately). In this configuration, the RigAxels can serve as mounting points for camera gear as well as stabilization outriggers when using the RigPlate as a camera mount. UPC: 854821004200 - A-Cups (4-Pack) The 4-pack of RigWheels A-Cups includes four industrial grade camera suction mounts with industry standard 1/4"-20 studs that screw directly into the optional RigPlate or RigAxels. Of the three different versions of suction cups that RigWheels offers, the A-Cups are the most general purpose and most cost effective model.
- The A-Cups are the most general purpose and most cost effective of the three RigWheels suction mounts
- Industrial grade camera suction mounts with industry standard 1/4"-20 studs
- Screw directly into the RigPlate or RigAxels (both sold separately)
UPC: 854821004217 - Rig Mount Magnetic Mount Long (Single) Designed as a magnetic alternative to a suction cup for the RigWheels RigPlate, this long stud version of the RigWheels RigMount provides the advantage of reduced vibration and immunity to extreme temperatures. Made of earth magnets and featuring a rubber coating to protect your mounting surface, it securely and safely attaches to metal surfaces and supports payloads up to 50 lb (in a vertical pull).
Four or more are recommended to be used with the RigPlate at the same time to provide the security of balance. The RigPlate is sold separately. UPC: 854821004422 - MicroWheel Camera Dolly Wheels (4-Pack) This pack of four MicroWheel Camera Dolly Wheels from RigWheels are simple and versatile tools for constructing your own pipe dolly, skate dolly, and other DIY camera slider. Each MicroWheel carriage mounts to your dolly platform using a single bolt and features four bearing wheels to smoothly ride on any pipe with an outside diameter of 1 to 2". The machined 6061 aluminum wheel carriages and high quality bearings combine to allow each carriage to support loads up to 50 lb. In addition to riding on rails, the MicroWheels can also be used on table tops and other flat surfaces. You can even attach the wheels directly to 15mm rods using optional adapters, allowing you to turn your 15mm rod support rig into a compact and portable camera dolly/slider. UPC: 854821004316
- Inline Wheels (4-Pack) Designed to be not too hard and not too soft, this 4-pack of Inline Wheels from RigWheels is ideal for smooth dolly moves for film and video. Each wheel sports a 2.7" outside diameter and comes equipped with ABEC 7 bearings and spacers for inside the wheels. Additionally, they are easily mounted with either 5/16" or M8 bolts.
