Product description The MWS2 MicroWheel Stage-2 from RigWheels combines six MicroWheels, one RigPlate, and one RigAxel to make a captive rail linear slider. The captive carriage configuration makes your camera more secure by locking it onto the rails. This setup also allows you to position the carriage/rails at a slight angle for slanted moves. The Stage-2 carriage is suitable for operating on a rail or pipe and the MicroWheels will run on any smooth pipe with an outside diameter between 1 and 2". Aluminum and steel pipes/tubes are recommended for suspended camera slider applications. In addition to the variety of styles of movement you can achieve with this kit, you always have the ability to increase functionality by adding different optional parts (available separately). For example, you can add one more RigAxel and 4 Inline Wheels to configure the RigSkate. RigWheels are mounted to the RigPlate with common 5/16" or 8mm bolts. With the RigWheels removed, the flat 5/16" thick RigPlate can fit in many common places like a laptop pocket. All components included in the kit are modular and versatile and can be used individually in various other configurations with different components (available separately). Note: For very steep or almost vertical rail angles, the Stage-3 carriage should be used.
