Product description The RailDolly Pro Kit from RigWheels is designed for uses where you can provide your own rails and support stands. The kit includes the RailDolly Carriage, Universal End Brackets with 18" crossbars, three Pro head adapter plates (flat, 75mm bowl, 100mm bowl), and a set of 3" plate risers. In keeping with RigWheels' multipurpose philosophy, the kit components can also be configured for use as the RigSkate Pro. - RailDolly Flexibility and ease of use are at the heart of Rig Wheel's Rail Dolly a multi-function camera slider/dolly. The heart of the rail dolly is the RigWheels RigPlate, which is a superellipse (square with inwardly curved sides) shaped metal plate that features 1/4", 3/8", and 5/16" through holes. The pre-drilled through holes allow you to mount a variety of optional accessories directly to the plate. The RailDolly glides silently on round, square, or rectangular track, riding on semi-soft skate wheels that incorporate ABEC 7 rated precision bearings.
The Rig Plate is black anodized and features chamfered edges. It features a threaded 3/8"-16 threaded hole in the center for mounting optional flat base tripod heads. Optional collars are available for mounting ball leveling fluid heads. The components included with the RailDolly allow you to configure it to ride on track or convert it to a tabletop skate dolly. - The RailDolly features a large footprint, which makes it suitable for supporting large cameras on track, smooth floors, or tabletops.
- The dolly wheels are configured straight down, as opposed to sets of wheels angled at 45 degrees. This allows the dolly to ride on square or rectangular track in addition to readily available round pipe from 1 to 2" in diameter. Four included wheel spacers provide side-to-side stability by riding along the inside of your track, preventing the RailDolly from slipping of the track.
- The semi-soft wheels feature ABEC 7 rated precision bearings for smooth, silent operation.
UPC: 854821004040 - Universal Rail Brackets with 18" Cross Bars Accommodating various track widths and pipe sizes, the Universal Rail Brackets with 18" Cross Bars from RigWheels can be used with a wide range of suspended rail type sliders and dollies. The package includes two 18" cross bars, each coming with a pair of rail brackets that support pipes with an outside diameter between 1 and 2". The brackets will also support square or rectangular rails up to 1.75" wide.
For a truly universal system, the distance between the rails (center to center) is adjustable along the 18"" support, with a minimum distance of 5" and maximum distance of 16". The 18" bar is the ideal size for the RigWheels RailDolly configurations. For versatile mounting, the cross bar features 3/8"-16 threaded holes in the center and ends of the track. A pair light stand adapters are included for supporting the track using light stands with a 5/8" baby pin.
