Product description This Kit pairs the RigWheels RMH1 RigMount with Ball Head Mount with a 1/4"-20 GoPro-type Tripod Adapter. Together, the two items in this bundle enable you to mount an action camera with a GoPro-type mount to any flat steel surface. Use this combination of a strong magnetic mount with a ball head as a handy, compact travel support for your GoPro-type type action camera. The firm grasp of the RigMount's rare earth magnets provides up to 35 pounds of holding power (vertical pull). Besides mounting safely to a steel surface such as a railing, car, mail box, etc., the RMH1 RigMount's flat base enables it to function as an ordinary mini-tripod. The ball head rotates 360° and its 1/4"-20 stud attaches to most small cameras. The included GoPro-style Tripod Adapter enables you to attach a three-prong action camera mount to the ball head or to the RigMount's 1/4"-20 stud. - RigWheels RMH1 RigMount with Ball Head The RigWheels RMH1 RigMount with Ball Head Mount is suitable for use with small action cameras such as GoPro. This RigMount includes a ball-head mount for quickly and easily positioning your camera.
The RigMount uses rare earth magnets to hold the camera in place (Up to 35 lb in a vertical pull). This RigMount has its mounting bolt on the top, which is sized specifically for use with cameras and small ball heads. It has a specially formulated rubber coating to both protect the surface you mount and prevent slippage.
Mounting a camera with this RigMount ensures that once it is safely attached to a steel surface, it will not loose its holding power and will not sag or detach. When you mount your camera with the RigMount, the frame stays exactly where you want it.
Since this Magnetic Camera Mount has a flat base, it can also be used to place and position your camera as an ordinary mini-tripod. For point-and-shoot cameras, this versatile RigMount can be placed in different ways and makes a great tripod during travel. One of the difficulties with most miniature tripods is that it can often be difficult to find a platform to put it on in order to get the camera to the correct height. The RigMount has the ability to attach to steel surfaces like street signs, cars, mail boxes, and railings, thereby making it easy to put it on a desired platform in order to place the camera at the correct height.
