Product description The RME BOB 16 I/O Analog Breakout Box is a suitable rack solution for interconnecting multi-channel XLRs with the common D-sub connector format. BOB-16 I/O Breakout Box connects 8 XLR inputs (Neutrik connectors) to a D-sub 25-pin connector and 8 XLR outputs (Neutrik connectors) to another D-sub 25-pin connector. It works like 2 breakout cables D-Sub from/to XLR. The breakout box supports all interfaces using analog 25-pin D-sub inputs as well as the ADI-8 QS, ADI-8 DS, M-32 AD, M-32 DA, M-16 AD, and M-16 DA RME interfaces. The usual multi-core breakout cables are replaced with a 19” rack mount unit, preventing cable chaos, errors, and connection problems. The analog breakout box is pin compatible to the common TASCAM pin-out format. The BOB 16 I/O Breakout Box provides the flip frame option, which allows to change rack brackets and handles from front to rear and thus to change XLR or D-sub from front to rear as well. This way the analog breakout box will perfectly fit in every rack and working situation. Note: Adapters to the YAMAHA format are also available (sold separately). Table of Contents
