Product description Enjoy fast and detailed 3D printing with the Robox 3D Printer, whose dual nozzle extruder can achieve resolutions as fine as 20 microns thin. While one nozzle fills in the body of your print quickly, the other nozzle works the outer surface in fine detail, up to a maximum build volume of 8.3 x 5.9 x 3.9". The Robox prints with one material at a time and is compatible with a wide variety of filaments, including ABS, PLA, Nylon, PC, PET, PC-ABS, PVA, HIPS, and more. Filament is supplied to the printer on SmartReels that snap into its own compartment on the side of the build chamber. Automatic Material Recognition detects the material on the SmartReel, removing the necessity for manual adjustments, and ensures that the printer chooses the settings best suited to the material being used.
Communicate with your Robox printer through the provided AutoMaker software, which allows you to customize the specific design's print quality and characteristics, as well as more global printer settings. AutoMaker prepares your files for printing and sends them to the printer via flash drive, Wi-Fi, or the included USB cable.
The Robox is pre-calibrated, levels the build platform automatically, and is ready to print right out of the box. One SmartReel of filament is included, as are cleaning wipes, tweezers, removal tools, a flash drive, and axis lubricant. The Robox 3D Printer is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. - Dual Nozzle, Single Material Extruder
- The extruder on the Robox 3D Printer has two nozzles with different diameters. One nozzle is thin and suited to printing fine details and delicate structures, while the other is thicker, and saves time by filling in the body of a print quickly. The Robox supports many different printing materials, including ABS, PLA, Nylon, PC, PET, PC-ABS, PVA, HIPS, and more. Although only one filament can be loaded into the printer at a time, you can pause printing to switch colors or materials.
- Automatic Material Recognition
- The Robox uses filament wound on proprietary SmartReels that lock into a chamber on the side of the printer. Each reel is preloaded with information that allows the Robox to identify its properties, and set up the profile best suited to the detected material.
- AutoMaker Software
- The included AutoMaker software allows you to take full advantage of your Robox printer's capabilities. Choose a fill pattern for the internal structure of your print, such as Honeycomb, Concentric, Archimedean Chords, Hilbert Curve, or others. Set the fill density to reflect how solid or hollow you want your design to be, from 30% to 90%. Adjust the layer height and instruct the Robox to switch to solid infill, every set number of layers, for improved model strength. Specify how thick you need the top and bottom layers to be, and how thick the outer walls. The AutoMaker software also allows you to finely tune many advanced settings, such as temperature settings, filament ejection volume, retract lengths and speeds, and more.
- Pre-Calibrated & Ready to Print
- The Robox doesn't require any manual calibration, and the automatic bed leveling feature ensures that the build platform is always flat. One SmartReel is included with the printer, as well as all the tools you need to begin printing - axis lubricant, bed wipes, removal tools, tweezers, and a flash drive.
