Product description Designed to meet the demands of businesses, 72TB Enteroc N1822 12-Bay NAS Server from Rocstor offers enhanced output options complete with four Gigabit Ethernet ports as well as the option to upgrade to 10 Gigabit Ethernet if needed. The twelve drive bays support both 2.5" and 3.5" 12 Gb/s SAS and 6 Gb/s SATA hard drives along with the ability to connect to 128 3 Gb/s, 6 Gb/s, or 12 Gb/s SATA and SAS devices.
Inside the Enteroc N1822 you will find a quad-core Intel Xeon 3.1G process along with 8 GB of DDR3 ECC SDRAM which is upgradable to 32 GB. Once setup, the included hard drives cab be configured RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 to suit a variety of storage needs. The Enteroc N1822 comes compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux/Unix operating systems making it easy to manage your storage regardless of your computer configuration. - 2U NAS

- The Enteroc N1822 includes a fully-featured backup solution including manual or scheduled backup for file, folder and shared files. - For your extensive data protection, the Enteroc N1822 includes an AES-256 logical volume encryption option. If shared folders have not been created in the logical volume setup, the volume can be encrypted by configuring data "Encrypt" option in the setup. After an encrypted volume is created, system will download the key file automatically. The key is a part of the encryption validation and the volume cannot be accessed without key file.
- SSD Cache Technology
- The Enteroc N1822 features SSD Caching that enables an SSD drive to be used in conjunction with a high-capacity hard drive (HDD). SSD Caching feature recognizes and automatically stores your most frequently used applications and data into the SSD, while giving you full access to the large storage capacity of an HDD. You can create, work and access your data faster than ever before without paying more for a larger SSD to store our entire data.

- The Enteroc N1822 features a robust Data Deduplication option which is a method of reducing storage needs by eliminating redundant data. Only one unique instance of the data is retained on storage media.
