Product description RAID Arrays for Photography and Pro Video Read More The Accustor PR3600 160TB 16-Bay Thunderbolt 2 RAID Array from Rocstor delivers a total storage capacity of 160TB for up to four Thunderbolt-enabled systems. The PR3600 comes with sixteen bays, housing a single 10TB 7200 rpm hard drive in each bay. You can configure the included drives for performance and reliability by utilizing the onboard hardware RAID controller. To deliver data quickly to your system, the Accustor PR3600 sports four Thunderbolt 2 ports, which each transfer content at a rate of up to 20 Gb/s. For increased speeds, Rocstor has outfitted the Accustor with Thunderbolt Pairing technology that joins two Thunderbolt cable connections, creating dual paths. Furthermore, cooling and powering the array is accomplished with 120mm fans and 400W power supplies. - Thunderbolt SAN
- The Accustor PR3600 couples the functionality of a complete SAN solution within a single Thunderbolt storage device that features 16 bays, housing SSDs and HDDs with a SATA or SAS interface. It is capable of achieving 2500 MB/s reads and 2100 MB/s writes for editing and storing 4K content. In conjunction with the high performance of Thunderbolt 2, the PR3600 hardware has no protocol conversion latency. Accustor's reliability is derived from an independent hardware RAID system, which differentiates it from other Thunderbolt storage products.
- Thunderbolt Pairing
- Thunderbolt Pairing allows users to double their transfer speeds by pairing two Thunderbolt cable connections between host computer and the Accustor PR3600 storage RAID storage unit. Two Thunderbolt ports can be utilized to connect a Mac Pro. With four TB ports available on the PR3600, two users can create dual paths for increased speeds simultaneously. PR3600 devices are pre-installed with Accustor Mac Installer that includes the driver for T-Pairing. Once the driver is installed, it will automatically communicate with the PR3600 RAID controller for easy configuration.
