Product description The Rocstor Enteroc PT3250 8-Bay PCIe 3.0 Desktop/Tower RAID Storage System Enclosure features eight drive bays that can hold 2.5" or 3.5" SAS/SATA storage drives and PCI express 3.0 technology. The PT3250 offers four data channels that deliver a total bandwidth of 32 Gb/s to your workstation with the included dual-port Z2M-G3 HBA card. You install the Z2M-G3 PCIe card inside your workstation and attach both devices via a QSFP 6.6 (2m) cable. The PT3250's bays support hot swapping and can hold SSDs and hard drives. When drives are installed, they can be RAID configured to offer you data performance, redundancy, or both.
The Enteroc PT3250 is powered by a LSISAS2208 processor and 2GB of DDR3 ECC RAM. It can be utilized as an SAN with an optional PCIe switch and comes with java-based RAIDGuard X software that helps achieve stable performance. Furthermore, it is outfitted with a 300-watt power supply along with two 120mm fans for drive and system cooling. With 32 Gb/s data throughput and reliability, you'll now have a storage system capable of processing through your next post production work of 2K/4K video streams. - Feature

- Rocstor provides RAIDGuard X that features EQ Mode and DLP functions to offer smooth, steady, and sustained performance. Selecting Performance Equalization mode in the RAIDGuard X GUI prevents frame drops, ensures smooth I/Os, and achieves stable performance with small peaks in bandwidth fluctuation, which regain as much as 20% in dropped storage. When a hard drive doesn't perform due to delays or aging, DLP technology utilizes RAID parity with other drives to resume the corrected data in real-time for maintaining stable I/O data transfers.

- The PT3250 lets you build a suitable storage solution by supporting various types of storage drives. For a cost-friendly storage system, you can install optional SATA hard drives to build a digital storage capacity up to 32TB. When performance and stability is needed, the PT3250 can utilize SAS enterprise hard drives to process large amounts of data flow. When the drives are configured for optimal performance, they can deliver a throughput up to 1200 MB/s to quickly process post-production tasks. Moreover, the PT3250 is based on PCI express 3.0 technology, which supports 800 MB/s of bandwidth in every channel, and has four data transmission channels to offer 32 Gb/s of bandwidth.
