Product description The Rocpro T24 Thunderbolt 2 RAID Enclosure from Rocstor connects to Windows and Mac systems via an included Thunderbolt cable and features four drive bays, which can house your 2.5" and 3.5" drives. The bays offer hot-swap support and can accept hard drives and solid-state drives. To cool your drives, Rocstor has designed this enclosure with an aluminum case for passive cooling and equipped it with two silent fans to maximize airflow. The Rocpro T24 sports two Thunderbolt 2 ports, offering 20 Gb/s transfer rates each. This connection technology supports daisy chaining with up to six Thunderbolt devices. Moreover, this enclosure has the ability to email you alerts, regarding to the health of the RAID or the condition of your drive.
With drives installed, you can easily configure them into a RAID 0, 1, 10, or JBOD utilizing the GUI and integrated hardware RAID controller. When the hard drives are configured in RAID 1, they can provide 687 MB/s read speeds and 676 MB/s writes. Additionally, the Rocpro T24 can deliver read speeds up to 1464 MB/s and write speeds up to 1167 MB/s by equipping it with SSDs under RAID 0. HyperDuo technology is also available so your system can use a mixture of SSDs and a hard drive. This technology has intelligent algorithms that allow you to utilize the faster SSDs, while safeguarding your data on the hard drive. - Compatible with 6 Gb/s SATA-based hard drives and solid-state drives
