Product description The Rode VideoMic Go with Micro Boompole & Windbuster Kit from includes a Rode VideoMic Go on-camera microphone, a 3-section Micro-Boompole, a 10' 1/8" male to 1/8" female extension cable, an Auray WSW-VMG Windbuster, a VideoMic Go foam windscreen, and a 1/8" dual-mono output cable. It can be used to capture high-quality audio recordings to your small camcorder or HDSLR camera. The Rode VideoMic Go has a supercardioid polar pattern and is lightweight at only 2.6 ounces, making it ideal for handheld shooting. It features an integrated Rycote Lyre shockmount for isolation from bumps and vibration, and offers battery-free operation using plug-in power from your camera's 1/8" microphone input. Please note that the microphone will not work with cameras that don't supply plug-in power to their 1/8" audio input jack. Additionally, the aluminum, precision-balanced Micro Boompole is a convenient and portable 3-section boompole. It has an ergonomic grip handle and an intuitive lock/release system for a smoother extension. Use it to extend the range of the microphone and for keeping the mic out of the shot. The Auray Custom Windbuster is designed for the VideoMic Go and provides dual-layered wind protection, and reduces unwanted broadband wind noise and vocal pops. It is designed to be used over the microphone's existing foam windscreen. The simulated fur outer layer works in tandem with the acoustic cloth inner lining to protect the microphone element from air bursts without muffling the sound. The VideoMic GO is a directional microphone. It utilizes a supercardioid polar pattern to attenuate sounds from the sides, resulting in a signal that sounds closer to the camera, even when shooting in noisy environments or at moderate distances. The integrated shoe mount provides a 3/8" thread for additional mounting options. A foam windshield and 7.9" dual mono 3.5mm coiled output cable is included. - Lightweight Design

- Auray WSW-VMG Custom Windbuster for Rode VideoMic GO The Auray WSW Series Custom Windbusters provide dual-layered wind protection and are designed to substantially reduce unwanted broadband wind noise and vocal pops with minimal high frequency loss.
This WSW-VMG Custom Windbuster has been tailor-made to fit the VideoMic GO and is designed to be used over its existing foam windscreen. The simulated fur outer layer works in tandem with the acoustic cloth inner lining to protect the microphone element from air bursts without muffling the sound.
When used on the VideoMic GO, this windbuster is effective in minimizing wind noise and plosive sounds. It is most effective in light to moderate breeze conditions (4-17 mph) and users can generally expect a 30dB to 40dB reduction in wind noise with modest dampening of high frequencies. For most applications, the modest high frequency dampening is a worthwhile exchange for the substantial wind noise reduction. In addition to dual-layered wind protection, the WSW-VMG helps prevent moisture and dirt from damaging your microphone.
