Product description The Rode VideoMic Pro Plus On-Camera Shotgun Microphone and Windbuster Kit from includes the Rode on-camera shotgun microphone, a micro-USB cable, a 3.5mm TRS cable, and an Auray WSW-VMP-R Windbuster for the VideoMic Pro microphone. It can be used to capture audio for camcorders, DSLRs, and portable recorders as a source of primary and reference audio. The Rode VideoMic Pro Plus is a supercardioid condenser shotgun microphone with an integrated Rycote Lyre shockmount, a built-in rechargeable battery, an improved response over its predecessor (20 Hz to 20 kHz), and improved RF-immunity as well. It features 3.5mm stereo mini-jack termination, outputs a dual-mono signal, and provides a TRS cable to make the connection for your camera. Also, the Auray WSW-VMP-R Windbuster provides dual-layered wind protection and reduces unwanted broadband wind noise and vocal pops. It is custom-made for the VideoMic Pro and is designed to be used over its existing foam windscreen. The simulated fur outer layer works in tandem with the acoustic cloth inner lining to protect the microphone element from air burst without muffling the sound. It is effective in light to moderate breeze conditions (4-17 mph), and you can generally expect a 30 to 40 dB reduction in wind noise. - Rode VideoMic Pro Plus On-Camera Shotgun Microphone
