Product description The 120mm f/5.6 APO Macro-Sironar Digital with eShutter from Rodenstock is a large format lens specifically designed for macro use with digital backs. It comes with an eShutter that is easily controlled by a computer or mobile device.
This digital version of the lens provides larger image circles for digital photographs, and allows you to take two or more laterally shifted overlapping photos for stitching, as well as large-format photos on digital backs.
The lens has an apochromatic design, with no visible color fringing or distortion in any images taken within the recommended range. The APO Macro-Sironar is meant to be used at larger apertures of f/8-11 to limit the degradation of image quality caused by diffraction.
The eShutter is a size-0 shutter designed to be controlled by a computer or an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. It is powered via the USB 2.0 port and has controls for exposures from 1/125 second to 32 seconds as well as for aperture steps in 1/6, 1/3, 1/2, and full stop increments. It is rated for up to 100,000 actuations and has multiple flash synchronization methods. - Image Angle
