Product description The eShutter Control Box from Rodenstock is connected by a cord to the Box's "Shutter" port. Data transfer from the computer to the eShutter control is done via USB 2.0 technology, which also acts as a power supply for the shutter when necessary in certain situations, as well as a serial interface with adapter for a PC sync terminal and digital backs. You can even synchronize a camera flash via the X-Contact port to allow more creative control over lighting and exposure.
An external power supply (external power supply unit or battery) is recommended for faster exposure rates, including the maximum 1.5 frames per second. The shutter can be fully controlled from your computer, as well as an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad via a Wi-Fi connection. The eShutter Control App is available free of charge from the Apple App Store. Note: An exposure sequence of one image per second can only be achieved by using an external power supply. The power supply must have an output between 5 and 24 volt. Power with a different output may damage the interface box and the eShutter, and voids all warranties and guarantees. - For Use with eShutter System
