Product description Control perspective and correct converging lines with the T-S 24mm f/3.5 ED AS UMC Tilt-Shift Lens from Rokinon. This full-frame Sony E-mount lens offers a huge advantage over a standard prime, tilt of +/- 8.5° and shift of +/- 12mm, each of which allows a photographer to change the perspective of an image or correct for certain optical effects such as keystoning. The lens is quite capable in its own right, featuring a maximum aperture of f/3.5 and utilizing two aspherical and two extra-low dispersion glass elements to correct aberrations. Additionally, it has an Ultra Multi-Coating (UMC) that prevents reflections and glare from ruining an image.
Operation of the lens is completely manual, including focus and aperture. The tilt and shift controls can be used either individual or in combination with one another for maximum effect. Also, the system can be rotated 90° left and right in order to account for vertical orientation shooting and adjusting tilt and shift positions. Additionally, a front thread of 82mm is available for using standard filters. - As a full-frame lens for Sony E-mount cameras, it is also compatible with APS-C sensors where it provides a 35mm equivalent focal length of 36mm.
- Tilt-shift functions of the lens allow adjustment of the focal plane by ±8.5° as well as parallel shift of ±12mm. The lens also features mount rotation of 90° left and right with click-stop adjustments every 30°.
- Optical construction uses 16 elements in 11 groups.
- Two extra-low dispersion and two aspherical elements help correct for numerous optical aberrations and anomalies to produce a clean, crisp image.
- Ultra Multi-Coating (UMC) combats reflections and glare that can lead to reduced contrast and detail in photographs.
- The lens has a close minimum focus distance of 7.9".
- A front thread of 82mm permits the use of standard filters.
