Product description The black A-49 from Roland is a slim-line USB/MIDI controller featuring 49 full-size keys. It is easy-to-use while retaining a professional-quality feel. The keys have a rounded shape for executing more comfortable glissandi, while exhibiting low mechanical noise and eliminating vertical shake. Strong yet lightweight, along with low demand USB bus powering makes the controller the perfect choice for mobile use.
Aside from the obligatory modulation/pitch wheel and octave and transpose buttons, the controller features the company's D-BEAM that responds to the performer's hand gestures for creating unusual modulation possibilities. The keyboard can assign all its controllers automatically for full utilization of an external SuperNATURAL sound module such as the INTEGRA-7, or be used as a second keyboard for controlling synthesizers with onboard SuperNATURAL sounds, such as the JUPITER-80 and JUPITER-50.
The recessed rear panel keeps the connectors tucked away without impeding the placement of a computer monitor. The two knobs, two switches, and the D-BEAM controller are all easily accessible and arranged to allow for fast and fluid workflow. Octave buttons offer immediate control of the key scale, and a transpose button adjusts the scale in semitone steps. LED indicators provide visual feedback of the octave/transpose settings.
Other settings can be accessed via the Function button, which allows the keys to perform additional tasks printed above the keyboard. Using an optional Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit allows the keyboard to provide pro-playability while retaining mobility when working with iPad apps. - 49 full-size keys with velocity sensitivity
- Two knobs, two switches, and D-BEAM controller
- USB bus powered, no AC adapter required
- Bundled with Cakewalk SONAR LE software
