Product description The white Aerophone AE-10 Digital Wind Instrument from Roland fuses a traditional saxophone fingering system with a library of onboard acoustic and synth sounds, plus a breath sensor that reacts just like your favorite acoustic horn. It can be used in a variety of environments for rehearsals, live stage, theater, and studio applications. Featuring a variety of acoustic and synth sounds, the instrument is powered by Roland's SuperNATURAL technology for natural and accurate response, which gives the player acoustic-instrument sounds like clarinet, flute, oboe, trumpet, and violin, along with the standard soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone sax sounds. There are even ethnic instruments like shakuhachi and erhu included, and all offer pitch and tonal fluctuations. Furthermore, you can play anytime and anywhere with onboard speakers, battery power, or headphones. You have the ability to connect to a PA or amp for broader coverage, eliminating the need to use a mic. In addition, you can connect to your smartphone via a 1/8" mini jack and jam along with your favorite songs using headphones. Finally, the Aerophone AE-10 lets you get creative with external gear. You can connect to your computer via USB to play soft synths and external MIDI sound modules through your DAW. This allows you to use the breath control feature that provides a world of unique expression not possible with a keyboard synthesizer. - Digital wind instrument with flexible onboard sounds
